Prologue

Years ago a wrote a short story called One Silent Cry, which follows the path of a young man walking the inner city streets of Houston trying to make sense of a close friend's suicide.

Over the course of the next few months I plan on posting chapters from One Silent Cry and other stories I have written or will write. I need an outlet for creative side that isn't connected to politics. I had initially intended to use my other blog, In A Word, as a creative writing outlet but as generally happens when you write about politics the corruption of the forum is too deep to allow a proper theater for my non-political writings.
